Articles I Liked This Week đź’ˇ

  • Cloud spending under scrutiny: IT leaders are looking for ways to optimize their cloud costs as the economy faces uncertainty and inflation. Cloud services account for nearly half of many IT budgets and customers often see price increases when renewing contracts.

FinOps and automation: Some organizations are adopting FinOps, a discipline for managing cloud expenses, and using tools from cloud providers or third parties to track and reduce cloud usage. Others are implementing automation and lean operations to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Workforce flexibility: Remote work, geolocation-based pay, dynamic sourcing models, and skills marketplaces are some of the strategies that IT leaders are using to adjust their workforce needs and save on payroll and office space costs.

  • I liked this article because it provides a balanced and informative overview of the current state and future prospects of Generative AI chatbots and LLMs in the Cybersecurity Domain. How are you combating things like Data leakage and malicious use of these tools by your teams today?
