AWS | Amazon Security Lake is now generally available

• New Service Alert 🚨! This is cool. It’ll automatically collect, manage, and store data from AWS and other sources in a data lake. The service also normalizes data across 50 enterprise security solutions to note.

Microsoft | Microsoft reveals Azure Linux is available now

• New Service Alert 🚨! Now generally available, Azure Linux can be deployed in new or existing AKS clusters as well as in hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios using Azure ARC and Azure Stack. It also supports various software vendors including HashiCorp, Palo Alto Networks, and Dynatrace.

CrowdStrike | CrowdStrike Introduces Charlotte AI to Deliver Generative AI-Powered Cybersecurity

• New Service Alert 🚨! Ask their new generative AI analyst anything in the Falcon platform for elevated productivity. First time I’ve seen “AI Powered IOA” referenced anywhere.

Red Hat | Red Hat unveils developer hub

• Part of Red Hat’s overall efforts to improve developer experience on OpenShift and Kubernetes, this is a great announcement that aims to increase developer productivity, foster internal collaboration, and ensure security and governance are up to enterprise best practices.

Appdome | Appdome launches Build-to-Test, new automated testing option for protected Mobile Apps

• This enables developers to streamline the testing of cybersecurity features in mobile apps.

CyberArk | CyberArk unveils its security-based enterprise browser

• First of its kind identity security web browser that enables organizations to better protect against attacks with a flexible identity based approach to securing employee and third party access to enterprise resources.

Barracuda | Zero-day exploited to breach Barracuda email gateways

• Automatic updates were applied on May 20 and 21st to all affected appliances. CVE-2023-2868.

Radware | Radware’s launches its Cloud Web DDoS Protection solution

• This uses proprietary behavioral-based algorithms to detect and mitigate Web DDoS Tsunami attacks. Also features high-scale infrastructure, cookieless browsing, data exfiltration protections, password replacement, and more.

NVIDIA | Wall Street tech darling Nvidia unveils more AI products — including a new supercomputer

GitLab | GitLab Released Emergency Fix For Critical Vulnerability

Grafana | Grafana Adds Service Accounts and Improves Debugging Experience

• Service Accounts are a new feature that enable users to run automated workloads in Grafana, such as dashboard provisioning, configuration, or report generation.

Airbyte | Airbyte Launches New Data Infrastructure Content Hub for Data Engineers

Elastic | Elastic Signs Strategic Collaboration Agreement with AWS to Accelerate Global Cloud Adoption

Ping Identity | Ping Identity Launches PingOne Protect

• This is a new fraud detection and risk management service to prevent account takeover and fake accounts while solving for MFA fatigue on end users.

NVIDIA | Nvidia Joins $1 Trillion Valuation Club Thanks to AI Boom

• It feels like this is just the beginning to me for NVIDIA. They’re crushing it and with AI in the news every day, I think their relevance will only continue to grow.

ExtraHop | ExtraHop® Now Supports Amazon Security Lake to Centralize Security Data on AWS

• ExtraHop securely feeds detections identified on the network to the customer’s AWS security Lake where they can access and take action with ExtraHop data as well as data from other sources, for faster threat detection, investigation, and response. This will enable customers to overcome visibility and coverage gaps in the cloud, leverage network intelligence for security analytics and automation, and streamline security operations with a unified data platform.

Aporia | Aporia and Databricks partner to enhance real-time monitoring of ML models

• This partnership will allow customers who utilize Databricks’ lakehouse platform, AI capabilities and MLflow offerings to deploy APoria’s ML observability platform directly on top of Databricks, without duplicating any data from their lakehouse or any other data sources.

Automation Anywhere | Automation Anywhere collaborates with AWS to empower enterprise processes with generative AI
