Articles I Liked This Week 💡

  • Security & Cyber Security need to be first - front and center to every business. The #1 goal of the business is to make money right? So why shouldn't the #2 goal of the business be securing that and the associated components (aka, Information Technology Systems and Services). I think it's high time that CIO's and CISO's join CFO's and CEO's at the same table to discuss why IT initiatives deserve investment and what IT really means to the business. Now more than ever it's important to listen to your leaders in Information Technology in what they need to support the overall health of the business.

  • I called out Cloud Cost Optimization and FinOps recently as a trend to watch in 2023, and, it's nice to see mainstream outlets pick up on that. Need help with FinOps? Reach out - happy to have a discussion.
